These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by The Carter Authority LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
Eligibility
Our services are available only to individuals who are 13 years of age or older and capable of forming a binding contract. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. Client accounts are accepted on a case-by-case basis following an initial consultation.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) infringe on the rights of any third party; (c) transmit harmful, offensive, or unauthorized content; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; or (e) interfere with the proper functioning of our services.
Services & Billing
The specific services provided to you are described in your service agreement or invoice. Fees are due as specified in your agreement. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice to active clients.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. You represent that you have the right to use the payment method provided. Failed payments may result in suspension of services.
Intellectual Property
All content, software, tools, and materials we create or provide in connection with our services remain the intellectual property of The Carter Authority LLC unless explicitly transferred in writing. Client data and client-provided materials remain the property of the respective client.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or to provide our services. Similarly, you agree to treat as confidential any proprietary methods, tools, or information we share with you in connection with our services.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Carter Authority LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate services with 30 days' written notice. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate access in cases of material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or any activity we reasonably determine to be harmful or illegal.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms to this page with a revised date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
